Lupe drops his lyrical bomb threats and then explodes (no homo) over some uptempo beats. I guess it should be no coincidence since the album's namesake is "lasers". Techno beats and shit. The album art is dope too. No lie. He has some features with a few no names, his usual crew of artists, and a sprinkle of widely known artists. I think that's a great formula everybody should consider. Although the songs pretty much mesh into a blob, each track stands on its own. My faves would have to be "Words I never said", "Never forget you" , and " Beautiful Lasers". I wish 'Beamin remix" made the cut but yeah. Also this album doesnt begin like the previous two with a poem like track that is thought provoking.
All in all...it gets 4 licks outta 5. I can play it straight through but eh...it leaves me hungry. Go cop it if you havent yet.
