How to Find A Soulmate

Finding a serious relationship can be difficult in the age of the booty call.  So, I’ve thrown together some KEY ATTRIBUTES to look for:

Loyalty

This seems like a pretty obvious characteristic.  However many of us compromise this for the sake of companionship or some superficial reason.  Loyalty and trust are major factors in ALL relationships especially romantic ones.  You want to be able to trust what your partner tells you.  You also want them to be loyal to the extent that you don’t have to guess about their dedication to the relationship.  You’ve heard the saying ‘without trust you have nothing’.  And it’s true!

Responsibility

This trait is usually a sign that the person possesses a high level of MATURITY!  For example, you want someone that is able to hold down a steady, LEGITIMATE job.  Someone who can pay their own bills and live up to any other commitment they obligate themselves to.  Relationships are a LOT of work and require two RESPONSIBLE people!

Communication

Seek out a person that is an open book to you.  Someone that is good at communicating is more than likely going to do well at maintaining a HEALTHY relationship.  And not just good at communicating about hobbies and sports.  You want someone that can articulate their feelings, good or bad, in a productive manner.  The last thing you want is someone who bottles things up and explodes once they reach capacity.

Compatibility

Compatibility doesn’t mean being the carbon copy of your boo or even having the same hobbies.  This simply means you both have the same morals and values.  Similarity in ethics is ESSENTIAL for a healthy relationship.  For example if the guy or girl you’re seeing has ever SPIT on someone and you deem that a dispicable act, you two are going to have some problems. It isn’t just the act of spitting on another human being, you understand that spitting on someone is normally a sign of other MAJOR character flaws and ultimately some very huge differences between you two.   Sharing that common core balance is essential for that UNIFIED feeling.

Drive

When looking for a gal or guy to call your own, look for someone who is first their OWN PERSON.  Drive is a major part of being an individual.  Someone’s personal goal is in some way a depiction of their self value.  Not only that, its shows that they are able to stand on their own two feet.  There’s something to be said for a person that is A-OKAY with being by themselves.  Most people with drive don’t have time to hop from relationship to relationship because this would distract them from their goals.  So when you find someone with ambition that stop to get to know you, you know its forreal.

So you’ve met a nice little lady.  Listen closely to what she says in those initial conversations.  Particularly what she says about past relationships. She could be speaking a cryptic code which translates to “Run”!
Not in ANY specific order cuz all these quirks are equally NOT-DATEABLE!

The “BAD TALKER”:
Most people can admit their part in failed relationships. They might not admit to their ex what they did wrong, but admitting to other people shouldn’t be an issue, right? If you’re just meeting someone and they are bashing the heck out of their ex, beware. It means that they have a serious issue accepting responsibility for their wrongs. And you guessed it-this probably was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. They more than likely were never wrong about anything during the relationship. This spells D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R!

The “SUFFERER”:
Every girl you come across is gonna have at least 1 bad thing to say about her ex. Hell, that’s why they aren’t together anymore! But listen to the “bad shit” timeline. If stuff got jacked up in 2008 and she stayed until 2011, RUN! This is normally a sign that ol’ girl is suffering from a low self esteem. She probably thinks and believes that no one else wants her. Therefore she allowed herself to be a doormat for the last guy. Its up to you whether you wanna invest in that type of situation but a low self esteem comes with a LOT of added baggage!

The “FAST FORWARD LOVER”:
OK, this one might be a bit hard to read. So you guys just met and things are getting off to a great start. Yall are going out, having sleepovers, never want to leave the other’s side…yatta yatta yatta. About 3 weeks in, she wants to lock you down. She’s talking about marriage, asking what you’d do if the “accidentally” got preggo. HALT! Be alarmed especially if this was the same course of events with her ex! First of all, she’s trying to lock you in for one of two reasons. She could want to lock you in because she is helplessly DESPERATE! Which means there’s nothing special about you, she was just waiting for someone who fit the basic criteria. Sad but TRUE. The second reason is that she wants to lock you in before you find out “other” things about her. Who knows what these things might be, but she wants you to sign the dotted line before you can read the fine print.

The PEEPING TOM:
Is her story riddled with lines like…”I found the pics in his email” or “A girl named Felicia signed in with the doorman, and she didn’t leave for three hours”. RUN like hell! This chick is PARANOID. This is ROBO COP in a skirt! If you choose to move forward, be prepared to always be explaining your whereabouts such as, why your phone is on silent, who you’re with, who will be meeting you there, are there girls there…you get the drift!

Last but not least “STATIC CLING”
Why did her last relationship fail? If it’s anywhere along the lines of “He didn’t want to spend time with me” or “He complained about me wanting to be around him and his friends” you need to RUN. Before you say I’m tripping, please listen to my logic. In every relationship, your time APART is just as important as your time together. Yes, you want your boys to approve of her but they don’t need to be friends with her. That’s your crew and also your safe haven. If you choose to proceed, be ready to draw the line and be ready for her to OVEERRIDE it!

I seen this chick modeling for that small time frame it takes for frostwire to load. I was like Dayumn!!!! & now I find out she is actually somebody & just not some random lovely chick. Just look at her...its almost as if you can never fuck her. Only love touches her. Her name is Jasika Nicole aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.....Chicks like her give me thee shivers in me timbers.
