A Sip of the Holy Grail

"...& then the clouds parted and riding down a stray beam of light in the land of pure darkness twas the one & only, who is braver than a hundred lions, wiser than a thousand goats, a mac in a million times a million...EMAC The Great." That was mentioned by some guy from a crowd when I was born...in my dreams. See...now you've come to understand just why I'm already cooler than you. In any case, I bring upon you the RAGE! & Reign of Great Music, Great Women, Great Art & Great Laughs. May you suffer the inevitable in peace.

Music Spotlight : Chris Brown

Ok...this is somewhat going against my first instinct to use C. Breezy in this week's spotlight but this week in music was although jampacked, not so interesting to me. i must admire his work ethic doe. No front. This nigga was all over the news over that morning show incident, dyed his hair, club appearances, taking his shirt off, playing basketball wit fans, on 106th & park doing shit on 3 separate days. Straight pushin himself. He sold at least 1 billion (more so if he hadnt did all of this) more cd's doing this shit in my eyes but if it was planned his publicist is a genius if not, well all the same. Im not one to admitt I actually like his work. I didnt like him when he first came out. Like fo real. Partly cuz...ok I was hatin but it just wasnt kool to me. I just didnt care for him. his 1st album was wack, the 2nd was wack but wit a few hits, the third wasnt even known to exist & now he comes out with his 4th LP. Im sure his fan base took a huge hit with what that rihanna incident in which he k.o.'ed her. I mean she said he had a little dick, he went and got it fixed, & leaked pics of what his new needle dick (smartly before his release date). I bet thats why she dropped that restraining order...out of her curiosity. Like on some real shit. Cmon now! Anyways...here is my review of Chris Brown's "F.A.M.E."

Chris Brown went through the gauntlet of the media circus to push his latest album "F.A.M.E." or forgive all my enemies. Pretty dope title +Creative points. Whats it with everybody these days? this album is full of disco techno reminiscent dance tracks. Anyways...you gotta give the people what they want. Listening to his lyrics, i can see the growth this dude has had. I guess even on the brink of going to jail, an artist's hardship can produce much better material. LoL This album has 16-17 tracks too. He put out music! I can respect that. CD's nowadays...well you would be lucky to see 10 songs on a CD. I actually enjoyed the album. Im not sure if he writes his music at all but the chris brown he used to be that I hated is not this man. He has a collab with the pop sensation justin Bieber. Smart move. What do you do to get girls to scream over you? Get another guy on a track that girls scream for. WTF!!! I find myself liking most songs on this damn album! This is a shame. But the songs of note 2 me are "say it with me", "next to you", "paper scissors rock", & "wet the bed". I must say some of this shit sounds the same (i.e. say it wit me & on my love & more). I must that good r&b goes a long way. Aite so to rate this album... 4 licks outta 5. Better than I expected. Possibly being generous.

If you havent heard or bought the album, it has your fave Mac's consent to do so. To the ladies...just try keeping your panties on.
